Gun (A)- (A) Winchester Model 1892 rifle, 38 W.C.F. , Serial no. 14566, 20-1/4”. This rifle was manufacture in 1892, first year of production. The 24” full octagon barrel has been shortened. Has a button magazine, sights replaced, walnuts stocks with riflebutt, and all metal is gray patina. Walnut forend has a 2” closed crack, rifle stock has been sanded, has a large repaired knot on the right side, sliver off wrist. Tang sight hole is filled, left side tapped for peep sight. Action is fine. Strong rifle bore. Gun (B)- (C) A custom Winchester model 1894 saddle ring carbine. Cal 32 win. spl. 16-1/2”, serial no. 1317409. Rifle was manufactured between 1942-1948. It was made into a custom short carbine with John Wayne style large loop lever. Barrel bands are gold plated, blank rear-sight, short ramp front-sight, original tang rear-sight, long-wood walnut forend. Has a serrated steel shotgun buttplate. Barrel and tube retain 90% of the re-applied blued finish. 80% original blue on frame, stocks are excellent and proud to metal. Action fine, strong bore. Very cool little custom carbine.
