The Lone Star Rifle features a plain pistol grip stock and forearm of satin finished American walnut. The pistol grip cap has “Texas” stamped on it. It came with a 26” half round-half octagon barrel chambered for the .30 WCF cartridges. The frame and all accents are gold plated; to include magazine cap, forend tip, lever and butt plate. Left side is engraved “1845-1970” with the Texas star. Right side has a star boarder. Lone Star Commemorative in gold on the barrel. Right side of stock has the gold medallion that features Sam Houston, Stephen Austin, William Travis, Jim Bowie, and Davy Crockett. The left side of the frame also has a blue saddle ring and stud. Total of 38,385 produced. The rifle is in near new condition with a couple of storage marks.
