Manufactured only between 1964 and 1965, a total of 1,200 of the AR-17 two-shot semi-auto shotguns were made with this gun being one of the first with a serial number of 7. Gold hard-anodized finish on aluminum receiver and barrel shroud with steel barrel liner and red bead front sight. Molded nylon stock and forend with Armalite brown rubber buttpad. Interchangeable “Lyman” external type screw-on tubes with wrench; cylinder, modified and full. The gold anodized finish is about 95-98%. The nylon butt stock has a 1/2" crack on the top of the heel starting at the recoil pad spacer. Overall very good condition.
