Barrel is stamped "W" with bomb 1-18. This is a typical post WWI rebuild. Left side of stock has several "RA-P" rebuild stamps. The rifle was refinished to a matte appearance and has several non- Winchester parts to include an Eddystone bolt release and rear sight base. Bolt is stamped "W". Sight leaf is stamped "R" for Remington. All metal retains approximately 85-90% of the reapplied matte finish. Stock is very good to excellent with usual bumps and bruises. Very clean typical example of re-inspected/re-built WWI rifle. Action is fine. Strong, clean bore.
