Both measure between 7-8" in diameter and are hollow for exploding charges. These large iron cannonballs could be for coastal defense due to their large size and weight. They display very nicely and certainly date to the Civil War or earlier. Probably a 32 pounder! Exterior with some corrosion and casting marks. Cannonballs this size are hard to find and quite desirable.
