This lot consists of a lovely tanzanite and diamond necklace set in platinum. Present on the lobster clasp of the 18" chain, it is stamped "PT950 ITALY." The bail of the pendant is also stamped with the following: "Orianna PT950 TA43.05ct D0.72ct." The piece has a total dwt of 18.2. This necklace is accompanied by two reports, a GIA Identification Report and an AIG Gem Laboratory report, both dated 2016. The GIA Identification Report (GIA Report Number: 217568415), dated July 2016, notes that the bluish violet colored tanzanite is oval shaped with a brilliant and modified brilliant cut. This report also notes that the tanzanite is approximately 43.05 carats with the following measurements: 23.70 x 18.18 x 14.01 mm. The AIG Gem Laboratory report (Trace No. NK009824 and Appraisal No. 000716307081), dated November 2016 notes that the piece is comprised of platinum, tanzanite and diamonds. According to the AIG report, there are approximately 90 round brilliant diamonds that have an approximate total weight of 0.72 points. Overall the piece is in good condition with normal wear present.
