This is a 1928 First Variation. Features single shot, blued finish, checkered walnut grips, fixed front sight, adjustable rear sight. Retains approximately 85% original factory blue with wear on trigger guard, muzzle, front grip strap. Right side of the frame has a small 1/2" x 1/4" scuff. Very good grips with a closed crack; easily repairable. Fine bore and action. This early variation was only manufactured in the early part of 1928 to approximately serial No. 100. This gun was used by world champion pistol shot Brian Moore.
