This lot consists of 14K white gold and diamond ring, size 5-3/4 with a total dwt of 4.6. A GIA Diamond Grading Report accompanies this ring (report number 11792000), dated December 2001. The center diamond is a square modified brilliant cut diamond with a halo and diamonds present on the shank of the ring. There are three rows of round brilliant diamonds that are on each side of the shank of the ring. On either profile of the ring, there is a "v" comprised of diamonds. The center diamond, is 3.02 carats, according to the GIA report. The halo that surrounds the center stone, consists of 16 diamonds, each are approximately 0.04 points (an approximate total of 0.64 points). On either side of the shank, there are three rows of diamonds. Each row has seven diamonds, thus there are 21 diamonds on each side that are each approximately 0.02 points. For these three rows of diamonds, there are approximately 0.42 points per side, and for both of the sides there are 42 diamonds that have an approximate total of 0.84 points. Six diamonds make up one of the"v's" that are seen on either profile of the ring. These six diamonds are approximately 0.01 points each. Together, both sides have 12 diamonds to make up the "v" with an approximate total of 0.12 points. All together, this ring has approximately 4.62 carats of diamonds. As noted in the GIA report, the polish is very good, the symmetry is good with no fluorescence present. The GIA report notes that the center diamond has the following measurements: 7.80 x 7.65 x 5.94 mm. This center diamond has I color and VS2 clarity. The ring is stamped 14K. Overall the piece is unworn.
