The original military barrel has been shortened to 22”. Hooded ramp front sight has been added; the military rear sight has been removed and replaced with a pair of case-colored A-O scope blocks. The original military stock has been shortened to 2” forward of original barrel band. The "JSA 1899" cartouche on left wrist is perfect. The butt has been shortened and it is covered with a rubber recoiled pad sleeve. The length of pull from trigger to rear of stock is 12”. The rubber pad is a US ordinance model embossed on back. The barrel retains approximately 90% blue, the frame magazine has a mottled pattern with fire blue extractor, left side mounted Lyman long range peep sight. Rifle has 40% original blue on trigger guard and barrel band. Fine action. Strong clean bore. Comes with an original 2-frog leather sling.
