This is an extremely fine Lithgow rifle dated 1942, with the matching stamp on right side of stock. This is one of the nicer example we have seen. Almost all of the original matte finish, excellent stock with proper sling. Bayonet is dated 1942 and is a Model 1907 with a leather sheathe. Wood handle is stamped “Australia”, and stock has all the Australian proof marks . Extremely fine example.
