Gun (A) Fine condition Winchester Model 1897, 12 bore, 30” barrel, full choke, takedown. Serial no. 378177 manufactured in 1908. This shotgun still has lots of original finish, 70% on the barrel and over 60% on the frame. The takedown ring has been re-blued. Original pistol grip and walnut stocks with Winchester buttplate. Excellent condition. No cracks. Action is perfect. Strong, clean bore. Gun (B) 12 bore, 30” barrel, full choke. Serial no. 544738 was manufactured in 1928. This gun retains approximately 98% of the expertly reapplied blue finish with razor sharp markings. Walnut stocks have been refinished to near mint condition. Fine bore and action. These are two extremely high quality pre-war very serviceable shotguns with lots of life left in them.
