These scarce arms are a featured chapter in Chris Curtis’s book on the Lefaucheaux style revolvers and can be viewed on page 258-259. Dating from the mid 18th century, the little multi shot cannons packed a punch with their ten shot double actions, giving 4 more rounds than your average six gun. This example is not marked where it can be see, no serial number, maker or inspection stamps. Barrel is 4-3/4" and the bore measures 7mm. Has typical folding trigger. Mostly patina, Indexes perfectly. A Confederate favorite during the Civil War. Est. 450-650
