These rare & early big iron spurs substantial spurs have smooth 1-3/4" wide X 5/8" thick heel bands and weigh 505 pounds, figure-8 shanks, and 3-1/4" diameter 8-point star rowels. All of the metal work has original frosted nickel plating throughout. The leather straps are worn dark and have significant cracking. They are highlighted by a 2" flower buttions. Circa 1870s.
