This very early and desirable California style Santa Barbara Spade Bit by F.M. Stern, has the San Jose, CA maker's mark and shows fabulous intricately chiseled iron cheeks and tall spade mouthpiece. In very nice condition, showing attractive patina and detail. Circa 1905 - 1915.
