Early 1lb. tin litho peanut butter pail manufactured by the F.M. Hoyt and Company in Amesbury, Massachusetts for Pickaninny brand. Features wonderful trademark image of young black child holding doll and peanut butter tin (same image both sides). Nice detail and color with a few scattered areas of wear and some tarnishing to the lid.

Condition: (8.6 - 8.8, Excellent).
