Double sided painted wood three dimensional sign. Circa 1870. Provenance Oakland CA Museum. Pictured in "Roar of the Monitors" by Jann Garvis. This sign is extremely rare and represents the best of the Gold Rush Era. Just a magnificent piece of history and folk art.
