Manufactured in 1968. Only 28,000 carbines were built; about one in every ten rifles and are rarely encountered. The .284 Winchester is the second rarest caliber behind the .358 Winchester. Features high polish royal blue, round barrel with ramp and bead front sight, folding leaf rear sight, top of frame is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, single barrel band with swivel, Winchester marked box magazine, lever action, pistol grip cap, straight comb plain walnut stock and black checkered composite buttplate. This little scarce carbine shows in near new condition inside and out on both wood and metal with just a few very minor stock impressions.
