Manufactured 1924. The matching numbered barrel features 2 - 3/4" chamber, full choke, vent rib and dual ivory bead. Retains approximately 75% original blue that is thinning in spots, especially at breech with high edge wear and brown patina. The extra barrel is Serial No. 217145 with 2 - 3/4" chamber. Original blued finish remains at approximately 95%. Missing front bead. Both barrels are marked "PARKER" and have near mint bores. The frame features beautiful engraving with pheasant on bottom, balance fine scroll with punch dot. Both sides are marked "PARKER BROTHERS". Frame is stamped with "C4". Features single trigger. Traces of colors on tang but basically nickeled out. Beaver tail forend has Deeley release, all matching numbers. Deluxe checkered straight grip walnut stock and a period Hawkins waffle pad. The wood has had added finish. There is varnish in the checkering which shows some wear. There is a chip on left side of stock. This shotgun would be greatly enhanced if one was to refinish and re-checker the wood. The Parker Trap Grade was one of the finest of its type ever made and the Trap Models were only made in the highest grade, each one hand assembled and finished. Comes in a black leatherette carry case with lots of wear on the inside.
