Measures 76" long. This beautiful handmade Indian style model canoe was built using birch bark for the body. The skeleton is constructed of tapered wooden staves. The wales are held together with hand tied string and features four wooden thwarts and tarred exterior seams. This canoe was handbuilt with great precision, using no nails or metal staples of any kind. Made in the exact style of a Native American 18th century canoe. Displays very well. This canoe shows some aging and patina, making a fine display piece for any collection.
