As there have been many film and stage productions of this 1910 Gaston Leroux novel, there aren't many arcade games. Less than 3,000 were manufactured in 1990 and it was a "Classic Thriller Unveiled!" The beautiful artwork throughout is extremely detailed and was done by Paul Faris. The game is accompanied with boasting music and sounds done by Kyle Johnson when in play. The housing is vast, complete with a large electronic marquee, flippers and multiple ramps. Many fun obstacles are included. For example, patron must spell out "Phantom" with the pinball to gain 1 million Francs. Currently operates but does not play. Two keys are provided.
