Manufactured 1871. Standard features include full round barrel, full magazine, two band, front sight integral to front band, walnut stocks, brass frame and rifle buttplate; saddle ring and stud, folding two leaf rear sight. Very good overall as found condition. Barrel is basically brown patina with legible barrel address. Brass is a rich mustard color. Forend is very good to excellent with some chipping on left top and small crack and grooves forward of band. Rifle stock is slightly shy at wrist. Fine action. Strong rifling. Nice homogeneous appearance with good Western eye-appeal.
