Manufactured 1863 to 1864. Frame is dated 1864. Barrel inspected "C.P.". Cartouche is visible but not readable on left side of stock. Manufacturer stamped on left side of frame. Model stamped on top of frame and address stamped on right side. Features full round barrel, single band, folding leaf rear sight, saddle ring and bar, and rear sling swivel. All metal is a soft brown patina. Stocks are very good with numerous dings and a repaired crack at comb. Strong, clean rifled bore.
