Looks like a standard 1847 Walker stamped "U.S. 1847" on right side of barrel. Has a roll-engraved Texas Rangers cylinder scene, square back brass trigger guard, iron grip strap, blue and case colored, New York address. Cylinder has oval catches. Backstrap is engraved "GEN. THOMAS F. RUSK Compliments the Inventor". Barrel retains approximately 30% blue. Cylinder is basically patina. Color patterns on frame. Grip strap is a dulled gun metal grey. Square back trigger guard of brass is not polished. One piece walnut grips that is cut into frame. Several issues indicate it is not original, to include angle, rifling and fonts; all of which are incorrect. That said, it does not appear to be an Italian gun, but rather a custom gun made to look like a real presentation Walker, of which it is not and is being sold strictly as a shooter/reenactment gun. Still an interesting piece with a fine bore and action.
