This remarkable arcade viewer is the Clam Shell model from International Mutoscope Co., which was manufactured from 1895 to 1901. It is constructed of cast iron with ornate designs throughout the machine, beautifully colored in maroon with details of gold. Complete with marquee and flower shaped frosted lamp. Advertising for "Moving Pictures Photographed From Life" featuring "Charlie Chaplin in The Bar Room Brawl". Serial number, 6414. Two keys are included.
