London, 1897 Gibson & Langman, engraved on the foot "The Deccan Cup Secunderabad 23rd Oct. 1897" and with various other dates and names, the broad shallow body chased with scrolls and two reserves one depicting a native/ sepoy rifleman, the other with the badge of the 28th Regiment, over a knop with four cast and chased lions' head bosses and with a domed chased lid with a bud finial. Height 18". Weight approx. 85 ozt. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
