Gun retains 90% original finish overall with some wear to the high points and light handling marks. Some slight freckling. There are some very minor pits along the edges of the muzzle of the slide. All markings are crisp and clear including the Polish eagle on the left side of the slide. Dated 1939. Matching slide and frame. The barrel is a Nazi marked replacement with non-matching number. Excellent original grips have minor handling marks. Slotted for shoulder stock. Three lever. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function, although it is packed with cosmoline so the action is sluggish. Not import marked. This is an incredibly difficult gun to find. Made just prior to the Nazi invasion of Poland in September of 1939.
