Lot contains: Black and white 8" by 10" photograph of Stilwell in uniform framed and matted under glass with a pair of his sterling four-star generals' shirt insignia, his Colonel's calling card as military attaché to China, circa 1935-39, a pair of Chinese military insignia, and a calling card with Chinese writing. These very personal items are tastefully arranged and framed in a handsome wood frame to an overall size of 17" by 14". The group is sold with a letter of provenance from noted collector Ed Whaling, tracing the purchase of the items back to March of 1988. CONDITION: Excellent. From the Ray Bentley collection.
