A spectacular, near pristine mint Sheriff's Model 1877 Colt Thunderer double action with serial No. 16869, manufactured 1879. Features factory one-piece ivory grips. This fantastic Thunderer retains virtually 100% of its bright nickel with perfect frost etched panel on barrel. Bright blue screws, bright blue polish on hammer with no evidence of ever having been fired. The thick one-piece ivory grips have a fantastically beautiful patina. No chips, full dimension and as perfect as can be. The entire revolver is in the most spectacular condition for this model we have seen and could only be improved by the addition of a picture box.
