A very fine Colt Open Top .22 revolver. This Open Top retains nearly 100% of its bright factory nickel with a tracking line on the cylinder. These revolvers are commonly found in very poor condition as they were well used on the Frontier. Face of the cylinder shows no evidence of firing. Hammer has 100% bright nickel finish. Frame and takedown screws are nitre blue. Rosewood grips retain nearly all of their original varnish with only the slightest wear to high point on right and left panels. NOTE: Purse does not fit pistol.
