A 99% pristine high-polished blued Colt New Service revolver in scarce .455 Eley. Shipped March 22nd, 1900 to Colt's London agency. This gem of a New Service is accompanied by a Colt letter, dated February 2nd, 1956, sent to Liverpool, England by Colt Museum curator Charles H. Coles. Aside from a very light tracking line, the gun is basically as new and appears to be unfired. It would be difficult, if not impossible, to find a better condition early New Service, much less in .455. CORRECTION: Photo added. Barrel length corrected to 5-1/2".
