A wonderful, late Colt 1860 Army. Barrel retains nearly 100% of its factory bright inky blue finish with five insignificant mars on left side of barrel above loading lever. Cylinder retains nearly all of its original factory blue with only minor fading. Naval engagement scene is near perfect. Nipples retain some finish. Five pin safeties intact. Case colors on frame are vibrant. Backstrap retains nearly all of its original bluing. Trigger guard retains nearly all of its heavy silver plating. Varnished walnut grips have all their original factory varnish with a few very light dents here and there. All screws throughout retain nearly all their original bluing. Loading lever retains much bright case colors in protected area, somewhat faded. All numbers match with the exception of the wedge, which is original and probably the factory neglected to number it. Revolver is cased in an original Colt 1860 Army mahogany case with purple line. Exterior in good condition. Interior is good with some fading and spotting throughout. Partitions are crisp. Case retains an original Colt's patent flask with considerable original lacquer on body, no gilding remaining on top and charger, a few very minor dents; Eley cap tin and key. A very fine civilian Army in a rare original factory case.
