This is an accurate copy of a Model 1766 Charleville musket, one of the primary weapons used in the American Revolution ,and provided to Continental troops by the French. It features a round steel barrel with bayonet lug on top and Navy Arms markings at the breech. Flat lockplate stamped Charleville in script and marked with a small fleur-de-lis. Standard French Model 1766 steel furniture and plain walnut stock. Excellent condition showing a few freckles and light storage marks. Great for a re-enactor or display.
