Lot contains: World War I/II cloth pull banner with applique for the 101st Battalion Company F Combat Engineers. The pole banner/flag is double tipped. Measures 27" wide and 43" spine to tip. Has the battalion emblem with "F" and "101" on rust color linen in white lettering. The custom dagger features a 7" drop point blade. Sterling silver guard is stamped with the name "William K. Cutten", serial number 0-378257. Guard is hallmarked. Black composite handle with nickel bands and castle engineer logo. Sterling silver hallmark pommel. Comes in a sterling silver hallmarked throat and tip leather scabbard with snap. CONDITION: Knife and flag are excellent to near mint. The first of this type custom World War II knife we have seen, not maker stamped. From the Walter O'Connor collection.
