This rare engine was introduced in 1898 for a price of $4.00, a goodly sum in that day. Production continued into 1918. The oscillating cylinder operates the walking beam. The engine includes a whistle and a safety valve. The top of the chimney is missing. Careless water use has led to surface rust on the top of the firebox. The engine needs a good cleaning.

Condition: (Good - Very Good).

Item Dimensions: 8 - 1/4" x 10".
WEEDEN NO. 48 BEAM ENGINE.
