TWO WILLIAM DE MORGAN CHARGERS.DE MORGAN1) Charger depicts three men in a ship battling a sea serpent. The decoration is done in red against a white background. The reverse is painted with concentric circles of alternating white and red bands and is marked in the center "Fulham W. D. Morgan. & Co" along with initials "CP". 2) Charger depicts three men on board a large sailing ship with calm sea and clear skys. The reverse is painted with concentric circles of alternating white and red bands with the letters "C.P" in the center. SIZE: 1) 12-7/8" dia. 2) 11" dia. CONDITION: 1) There are four glaze skips on the backside. Some minor roughness to rim and some light crazing, otherwise good. 2) Very good to excellent. 52775-3 DAB (1,500-2,500)
