ROYAL FLEMISH VENETIAN VASE. MT. WASHINGTON Royal Flemish vase is decorated on front and back with a Venetian harbor scene showing ships at sail and birds in flight with an outline of Venice in the background. Each scene is framed with in gilded flowers, scrolls, and leaves. The vase is completed with two applied gilded glass handles. Signed on the underside with conjoined initials "RF" within a diamond and number "571". SIZE: 14" t. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved Ontario, CAN collection. CONDITION: Some very minor wear to gilding on lip, otherwise very good to excellent. 52654-25 DAB (3,500-4,500)
