Nice black and white landscape photograph by Edward H. Weston (1886 to 1958). Initialed and dated LR EW1937, portfolio back-stamp #2, from the 50th Anniversary Portfolio produced in 1952 with son Brett Weston (1911 to 1993), consisting of 12 select photographs in an issue of 100 portfolios. Eel River Ranch shows the extreme depth and clarity that was strived for by Edward and his partner/ friend Ansel Adams. Both founding members of the group "F-64". Condition of this photograph shows a definite need of restoration showing a wavy lifting over a large portion of the center from moisture at a previous time, not affecting the image when observed straight-on, but noticeable when observed at an angle. Mounting board has nail marks around edges from a previous framing and has somewhat considerable foxing on reverse of mounting board. Freshly framed "as is" with UV -resistant glass and ready to hang.
Condition: (Good).
