This lot contains (A) pair of Heer Model 40 straight leg combat trousers, and (B) Heer Model 34 infantry enlisted overseas cap. (A) Field gray M40 combat trousers in unissued and near mint condition, with very minor nap wear in three or four small areas. Trousers are overall 43" long and have a 32" waist, with bold manufacturers and size markings, as well as being dated 1941. Trousers have one rear slit pockets and two side slash pockets. Waist retains nine aluminum buttons, four glass fly buttons and three glass pocket buttons. All buttons are era applied. Rear waist adjustment buckle retains 100% of its black black painted finish, and is marked "Prima". Trousers are lined in an off-white ribbed cotton. (B) Heer M34 overseas cap in unissued near mint plus condition. Field gray wool cap has a gray cotton lining, which is nicely marked with a size "56" and manufactured by "Wiener Mutzen Lago". Zinc rivets retain 100% of their original field gray finish. White "Russian braid" soutache is machine sewn, with the ends correctly tucked into the cap. Eagle is machine sewn and folded down on the top, with zig-zag sewing around the remainder. Cockade is tailor hand applied. The insignia is era applied. A nice pair of unissued Wehrmacht clothing items.
