The Rezner Deluxe race car is powered by a Dennymite .57 gas ignition with coil condenser, battery holder and On/Off switch in cockpit. Rubber tires, decals number 3; Rezner Eagle Rock CA was the original manufacturer. Opening hood allows one to see the engine. This car has a a great deal of history behind it, it was made around 1941 with about 35 or 40 other units. This car won many races. 13-1/4" wheel base, 18-1/4" overall. Transverse leaf suspension in rear, differential front drive, cast aluminum ladder-type frame, cast aluminum body with nose, sheet aluminum belly pan. This is a deluxe of S/nose model and was made by Gardener Welsh Engineering Company, Eagle Rock California. Comes with photos showing the inside of the engine, before it was restored, and the original price for car on old magazine page as well as the book "Spindizzies Gas Powered Model Racecar" by Eric Zausner. A fabulous car with great provenance.
