Handel table lamp has a reverse painted shade. The border of the shade is decorated in a Persian design with medallions, stylized leaves, and flowers in colors of maroon, yellow, green, blue and amber, all set against a multicolored background. The exterior of the shade is finished in chipped ice. Signed on the interior rim "Handel 6747". The shade rests on an original Handel metal base which is decorated with three applied handles and supports a three socket cluster and fleur-de-lis cap. Base is finished in rich brown. Unsigned. The shade is 18" in diameter, base is 22-1/2" tall. Shade is very good to excellent. Base is good with some minor blistering and discoloration to the finish.
