This large well-preserved specimen with semi-lustrous metallic gray surface. From a private estate collection. At our request, the consignor submitted this example for analysis and certification by The Maine Mineral And Gem Museum. The identification and certification report accompanies this lot. A small sample was cut from the narrow end of the meteorite from which the sample was acquired and shows the now polished interior. It is 4-1/4" tall, 6-3/4" long and 4-3/4" deep. The surfaces are as previously noted, structure is intact. Meteorite displays a small alteration vein which is visible in the electron image on the report. Weight 16.90 lbs.
