30" barrels are engraved with maker's name and address and gun trial information on matted rib, twin ivory beads. Barrel flats are stamped with Birmingham black powder proofs and engraved "Chicago Exhn 1893". Case hardened action with "G" ejector has nicely filed sculpted fences, and is engraved with 90% coverage truly exceptional very small shaded scroll. Maker's name is on each side. Newer crotch figured American walnut straight grip buttstock measures 15" over squished Jostam pad. Original splinter forend has Deeley release. CONDITION: Good. Barrels retain 80% of an old re-black. Action has 20% original case hardening color, engraving remains sharp and clear. Buttstock has most of its original finish, forend shows considerable wear. Checkering has not been re-cut. Bores are very fine to excellent. Action is tight. Ejectors are in time (but fire before gun is cocked). MGM 11
