Made in 1913 on a No. 2 frame, this gun has remained in nice original condition. Built with 30" Twist barrels. The gun has double triggers, extractors, and auto-safety. Top rib with usual rib legend and twin ivory beads. Splinter forend is checkered in standard PH Grade pattern with engraved Deeley release and steel tip. The capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in two point pattern through the wrist with nickel shield near toe and terminates in a hardened Silvers type pad. The case colored action is engraved in typical PH pattern with light scroll and engraved "Parker Bros." on sides. Housed in a modern green canvas and maroon leather case with green felt interior. CONDITION: Excellent as lightly field used. Appears totally original. Barrels retain about 97% of their bold twist pattern. Action retains 40% plus original case color, some of which appears to have been cleaned off at one time, not worn. Forend retains most of its original finish with some finish added for preservation, checkering beginning to thin with scattered light marks. Trigger guard retains 65% original blue, flaked at tang, brighter on bow. Buttstock is excellent with what appears to be original finish and some minor handling marks. Breech ends of barrels still show some original file marks, but bores do show some pitting ahead of chambers. Mechanics are fine. Case is excellent. A nice Parker ready for much more time in the field for generations to come!
