Lot consists of: (A) Khaki garrison cap piped in gold for General's rank, pinned on left side is a Major General's rank insignia. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) US Army blue piped garrison cap with glider troops patch sewn on the left side. CONDITION: Excellent. (C) World War II U.S. Navy Purple Heart, sterling with plastic heart insert and split brooch. CONDITION: Very good with areas of toning to the planchet. (D) German M42 Police Helmet, exterior with post-World War II tan paint and single police decal on left side. Leather liner is dry and exhibits broken tongues. CONDITION: Good. (E) USMC 1st Division tunic dated 1942-43 in the left sleeve. Collars display a matching set of EG&A insignia, left breast with wide ribbon bars and Sterling Basic Badge, named "Barnes" in sleeve. CONDITION: Excellent with minor wear only. (F) Third Reich NSDAP Banner measuring 47" X 113". CONDITION: Banner displays a number of scattered holes and stains. (G) Japanese Type 99 Bayonet, blade with Matsushita Kinzoku KK Arsenal markings. Blade displays most of its toned blued finish, undented scabbard with areas of light surface rust. CONDITION: Very good. (H) Remington Model 1917 Bayonet, metal is brown with areas of light surface rust. CONDITION: Good. (I) US M1 Garand Bayonet, ricasso marked "A.F.H. U.S.", blade with about 50% original finish. Scabbard metal throat was painted silver and composition body shows wear. CONDITION: Good to very good.
LARGE LOT OF MILITARIA INCLUDING: USMC JACKET, GERMAN HELMET, PURPLE HEART AND BAYONETS.
