Late 19th century. France. This fine example has a molded green marble top joined to the column by a molded brass collar. The shaft is molded with a scene of semi-nude maidens playing musical instruments in a wooded landscape beneath hovering Putti carrying floral garlands within the foliage. The lower column is similarly decorated with dancing girls in diaphanous tunics. The column is fitted atop a brass socle cast with leaftips on a square cobalt base with dense gilt scrolling decorations. Excellent condition overall with normal in-use wear on the marble top.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
