Art Nouveau bronze lamp base by French maker Louis Majorelle has organic form foot of a vine with flowers at the end climbing the stem of the lamp, which leads to the stylized three-arm spider with leaf ends. The base is finished in a gold patina and is signed near the cord opening "L. MAJORELLE". Condition: Very good to excellent with minor wear and discoloration to patina, rewired with contemporary plastic cord. Lot is accompanied by a badly damaged and glued internally decorated glass shade.
