Rookwood plaque has barren trees along the shore of a pond with the outline of woods on the opposite shore. The barren trees are done in shades of grey and black, while the opposite shore is done in subtle shades of green; all against a yellow shaded to blue sky. The plaque gives the feeling of dusk. It is signed on the backside with the Rookwood flame mark which dates the plaque to 1912. The plaque is housed in a gilt frame. Plaque is very good to excellent. Frame is very good with some minor wear to gilt and a small dent to the lower edge. Overall 14" x 11 - 3/4". Plaque 8 - 3/8" x 10 - 1/2".
