Made in 1881. Blued octagon barrel with blade front sight and adjustable rear. Tube fed magazine, case hardened receiver, and plain trigger. Plain walnut stock with special order shotgun style buttplate and walnut plain forearm. CONDITION: Metal parts have faded to a silvery plum color. Caliber marking is visible on lifter and action functions well. Wood has oil soaked finish with small sliver missing from forearm from what looks like long ago. Wood is solid with heavy usage marks. Shootable bore and good mechanics. DLM
