Lot consists of: (A) Remington-Lee Magazine bolt action rifle made from 1880-1907 by E. Remington and Sons, Ilion, New York. Gun has blued round rifle barrel with blade front sight and rear sight similar to a Buffington sight with two barrel bands. Blued clip fed action with Lee and Remington logos and "US" stamping. Walnut full military stock with iron hardware and no visible inspectors marks. CONDITION: Overall good condition with blue fading to brown. Action has applied cold blue. Stock has traces of varnish with light handling marks. Good bore and mechanics. Clip mechanism is a little sticky. (B) Remington-Lee Magazine bolt action carbine made from 1880-1907 by E. Remington and Sons, Ilion, New York. Gun has carbine length blued round barrel with blade front sight and ladder adjustable rear. Blued action with saddle ring attached. Remington marked clip. Walnut plain carbine style stock with one barrel band. No visible inspectors marks. CONDITION: 80% original blue with some cold blue added on action. Applied coat of finish with light handling marks on stock. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
