Barrel made without sights and stamped with offset "(Crown) / GR / (Broad Arrow)" and "(Crown) / (Crossed Scepters)", and truing strike at tang with "(Crown) / 14" at rear of tang. Lock with drum conversion performed to convert to percussion. Center of lock stamped with "(Crown) / GR" and a "(Crown) / (Broad Arrow)". Tail of lock with a divot where a maker name was scrubbed out. Replacement fish form hammer engraved with florals. Rear of sideplate with "WD" stamp. Original iron ramrod retained a single brass reinforced ferrule. Standard brass trigger guard. CONDITION: Good. Metal is essentially dove grey throughout with even peppering throughout. Wood is fair to good with numerous bumps, bruises, and nicks, ramrod channel with a rather large chip missing that can be seen from the muzzle. Wood glue or epoxy was dripped on trigger guard. Action is good, bore with oxidation throughout. EW
